This policy explains how we process personal data under the GDPR and applicable laws.

1) Data we collect

Account & profile: first name, email (including Apple private relay if used), Apple user ID, partner link/ID.

Conversations & metadata: message content you send; timestamps and delivery status.

Uploads: none for now.

Push token: to deliver notifications.

Technical: device/OS info, IP, basic security logs.

Crash logs/Analytics: none currently.

Payments: none yet (subscriptions may be added later).

3) AI processing

We send the text you choose to DeepInfra for AI-assisted reformulations. We do not include your email in model inputs. Provider configuration: no retention / no training use.

Infrastructure/network: Cloudflare

Database/realtime: Convex (self-hosted)

AI routing: DeepInfra

Push notifications: Expo Push

We do not sell personal data.

5) International transfers

Where data is processed outside the EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and appropriate safeguards.

6) Retention

Account & profile: kept while your account is active; deleted upon request.

Conversations: kept while your account is active; deleted upon request.

Logs: retained ≤ 90 days. Some data may be retained as required by law.

7) Security

In transit: encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.

At rest: not currently encrypted.

No end-to-end encryption; limited admin access under confidentiality.

8) Your rights (EEA/UK)

You may access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, and port your data. Email [email protected]; response within 30 days. You can complain to CNIL (France) or your local authority.

9) Children

Rezon is for adults (18+) only. We do not knowingly process minors' data.

10) Changes

For material changes, we provide in-app notice 14 days before they take effect.
